Your 3D model will be anchored from the origin point. For the best viewing experience try to set the origin as close to where the viewer will be standing as possible.
The best viewing locations for the positioning system are close to the street in view of existing buildings.
If you are placing QR code signage on-site, try to place it such that the user is already facing in the direction that the model will appear. inCitu decals incorporate an arrow shape to indicate where to look.
Example:
You may notice, especially when the app first launches, that the anchor may appear to slowly "drift", or even jump several meters abruptly. This is simply your phone’s location being refined, and the model should settle after a few moments.
When positioning with Edit Mode (Testing your project & AR edit ), we recommend refreshing the AR 3-4 times before editing to limit variance and ensure you are editing from the most accurate position possible.
If you see a positioning system accuracy warning, you may be in a low coverage area. We recommend using interactive viewing mode (On-site & remote viewing ) in areas without positioning system coverage.
If you would like to view a project from multiple locations that are far away from each other or at a different elevation, we recommend publishing each viewpoint as a separate project with the same model and positioning them as desired with edit mode.
