Who is inCituAR for?

inCituAR allows architects, designers, planners, community advocates, and anyone with a 3D project for the built environment to share their work on-site at 1:1 scale using augmented reality.

What do I need to create a project with inCituAR?

inCituAR supports .GLB, .DAE, .USDZ, .OBJ, .FBX, .IFC file types. The model file size must be 35 mb or lower.

How do I share my project with others?

inCitu publishes lightweight QR codes and URLs linked directly to cross-platform, smartphone-based AR with no app download required. If the user is not on-site, they will automatically be directed to a remote ‘Tabletop AR’ experience.

What happens if I deny location permissions?

If location permissions are denied on launch, only Offsite Mode will be available. You will not be able to switch between Real Scale and Interactive modes without location access. To restore full on-site functionality, go to your phone's app settings and grant location access to inCitu. If you don’t have the inCitu app installed, look for appclip permissions in the location and camera permissions sections of the privacy & security settings tab.
